THE BIGGER PICTURE
Mbappe, who looks set to leave PSG for Real Madrid this summer, has been a sub repeatedly of late after coming off the bench against Nantes, Stade Reims, and now Clermont. Despite that, the French international, who has been made captain on a number of occasions in recent weeks, has still scored 39 goals and bagged nine assists this season as they sit 13 points clear at the top of Ligue 1. While the forward is not playing in every game, and his relationship with manager Enrique may not be in the rudest health, he will play in the biggest matches and his impact cannot be ignored.

WHAT NEXT?
Mbappe's PSG will now prepare for the first and second legs of their quarter-final Champions League tie against Barcelona on Wednesday and then the following Tuesday. It is likely he will play a huge role in both matches.
