West Ham United fans have called on their club to make a move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos in this summer’s transfer window, after a Twitter account suggested him as an alternative to reported target Andre Gomes.
The London outfit’s fans recently made it clear that they would not be interested in a move for Newcastle United’s Jonjo Shelvey ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
However, Ceballos is wanted at the London Stadium this summer.
The Real Madrid midfielder has actually recently been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, but their fans have rejected a swoop.
The 22-year-old struggled for football in the second half of the 2018-19 season, particularly after Zinedine Zidane returned for his second spell as head coach.
There is a talented player in there, though, and a move away from the Bernabeu could be just what the six-time Spain international requires in order to realise his full potential.
